Hun Sen threatens to boycott Thai goods

I never heard before,now Cambodian will bans Thai goods export if thailand close they border.Cambodian smart now because Taksin show them how to plays game with Thailand,this is just first start (Lesson 1)

Umm but Thailand is gonna stop any assistance and any Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Cambodia too. 

One of the MOU is about the agreement of land Boundaries between Thailand and Cambodia.  In this boundaries, it is expected that there is a lot of crude oil.

Then, Thailand also move smart too.

I am sorry for my mistakes.

From now on, thai people will not go to Cambodia for Casino any more.  Hunsen will get less bribery paid from these casino.

 Actually, Thaksin and Hun Sen have mutuall benefit about that overlapping sea area.  If Thailand stop that MOU, the crude oil in that area can not be explored and used.  Don't forget that Thaksin has a business contract to develop Koh Kong (an island) around that area for 99 years.  This business will be about energy infrastructure.  Then, Thaksin would get hurt of no progress in this business.

For Hun Sen, If Thailand still hold the Thai soldier around Pra Viharn Temple area untill March next year.  Then, the temple can not be registered as a World Heritage Site.  Then, Hun Sen will get really hurted.

Moreover, Thai Government will stop financial assistance to Cambodia like 1,400 million baht to build a highway and etc.

We will see ........    But for sure, in an international society, A lot of diplomat think that Hun Sen is too aggressive and immature......................

Take it easy, in Lao..who is the big tourist group? Ofcoz Thai Tourist.

If Cambodia closed the border. Cambodia will be the one who lost income as most of the tourists from Thailand and may effect to other countries who landed at Thailand first (Good news that foreign tourists will change direction to Laos, Vietnam and Burma instead of Cambodia.

I have been to Cambodia twce.  found out that most of the products and goods are mainly import from Thailand even bottles of water are produced from Thailand

If closed the border and bans all Thai products and all Thai business in Cambodia move back to Thailand. Cambodia will lost lots of money and no food supply. If they turn to Vietnam market is a bit diferent culture and most of Cambodia people can't accept it.

Anyway, it's non of our business. I heard that Laos will welcome lots of tourist from Thailand and other countries. We will make lots of money from tourism season this year till next year though...

 Cambodia is very smart alright! They allowed themselves to be a pawn in a Thai domestic politic. The tough talk between his Excellency Hun Sen and the Thai PM is only going to hurts the ordinary Khmers and Thai that depends on Khmer-Thai border trades and tourism. Both sides lose in this petty border and domestic politic. ASEAN unity must prevail. We are all ASEAN Brothers. Bangkok and Phnom Penh must tone down their rhetoric.
