I would love to taste it. Too bad they don't sell them here in the US.
Can people in Laos rate those beers and tell us which one is the best?

So many brands tried to compete with beerlao but never succeed.  Hhhmm let see, tigers, lanxarng and calsburg.. I don't think neither of those companies get very far with the market shares.

Both, Tiger beer and NamKhong beer, were produced in Laos by Singapore's Tiger Beer or Asia Pacific Breweries (APB).
APB had a 68% share in the brewery, with the Laos government 25% and Laotian-based SBK Consultant 7%

I just came back from phatet lao the last weekend from my yearly 2 month stay.

I must say the beer namkhon has a really good taste...my prefered beer brand now in lao and I am really be choosy...you can give me Tiger, LaneXang, Heineken, Carlsberg for free I will not drink...bc not tasty wink

Beer Lao has a new one too....the beer lao gold, but 2000 kip more for the bottle than the normal one....using different hops for this beer....but don't know, if this will be really successful on the market.
But beer Namkhong will be a fierce competition for beer lao....

But don't forget the beer Savan...it's good too...but not that easy to get to buy.

The beuy (beer) label needs to be redeside, it is totally ugly, it got swat allover but not the hand that carried. The label has to look testier with the picture of barley and flowers.
just only sugestion.

I don't precisely understand your English. You mean the beer label has to be redesigned. The label has to looked tastier with the pictures of barley, malt, hop and flowers?

I went to Laos mid January and come back Last week, I tested it, it wast great! I like it! The only problem is that some places you can't find it at all, that's perhaps the particular shops had agreement with beer Lao or maybe this new beer is just running out of stock I am not sure...But it really nice and fine test, you have to try it guys.

You mean you've tested the beer when you were in Laos & the taste was really nice & fine.
Instead of it really nice and fine test. By saying like this you're not making any sense alright. no

I don't precisely understand your English?      This is a bad English!
The correct way to say is " I don't exactly understand your English "

May be it is the last chance for Lao APB to fight with Beerlao before withdrawing its investment and back to Singapore since the company lost a lot of money as well as its image from the Lao Market during 2 years-operation.

The first MD was already sacked and the second will be to go soon.

Haaaaaaa

Is that the best Laos can do to produce more beer than other stuff? Atlease use money on education, industries, technologies and etc..instead of produce  more beer. if Lao peoples can get an education, and jobs like the way they drinking beer. Laos country will be more modernize (ja lern). And atlease have some kind of drinking age law. If you travel through Laos you will see almost every corner of lao people gathering drinking beer. Don't they have anything else to do beside drinking beer that cost more than their income? If they have any regular income beside undertable.

Step by step, guys

It takes some time for Laos to stand by itself

Imagine that to move the country from the develoing country to the developed one is not so easy.

Beer is beer, country is another.

If Lao people is so dynamic as you have mentioned, it would be good for the country to move into next level.

Anyway, good comment from you

I just got back from Laos yesterday. One of my last days there I noticed it on a meny, cheaper than my favourite, BiaLao.

I aksed the waiter what it was like, he said "taste like Tiger"

I don't like Tiger, so I ordered Bia Lao!
