Yes, I firmly believe that good education is more than just outstanding academmic achievement, but also on how much they can contribute their knowledge and ability to the society they live in.

yeah i also believe real education is more important than just outstanding academic achievement... if you learn and fully understand from the book you can utilize to real world... but most of people they dont just look on which grade... that is why sometimes, the people who didnot get good grade successful that some body got good

To answer your question.. Yes!!!! I do believe that good education is more valuable than just an outstanding academic. Good education usually translate to good foundation and also good common senses too.

I said they go hand in hand and they are equally important.

Bill Gate was not just a college droped out , he was a Harvard University droped out! thati is a big difference.
He was already a genius and his parents were rich and that's why he was excepted at that school. The reason he didn't finish at Harvard University was because he was bored.

From my past experience I was an only child born from a family with a comfortable life, my dad bought me Audy TT for my sweet 16 birthday, every week he put in gas for me and I got $400. per month for allowance most of the time it was not enough
I was spoiled rotten I dropped out from college at 20 and work at starbucks as a cashier for several years and was laid off 4 yrs ago and lost my dad 2 1/2 yrs ago me and my mom are pretty much living off from the money she made from their restaurant compare to before when my dad was still alive and was a computer pragramer for a bank. Right now I still can't find a job, but I help with my mom at the restaurant I whish I can turn back the time and finsh college so I can get my teaching degree.
In my opinion money can't be every thing and it does not last for ever like EDUCATION does. Right now I'm thinking of going back to college but our restaurent is not doing that well and colleges are expensive now so hopefully I can afford to go back before I get pregnant.

what i am trying to say is that Bill Gate did have the education but, he is still successful simply because he applied himself at what he believed.
