(KPL) The Yunnan-Oudomsay Samsao Jin Mao Company has invested US dollars three million in rubber tree plantation project in Oudomxay province.

An agreement on the investment was signed here on December 30, 2009 by Ms. Khammy Souksavath, Chief of Beng district on behalf of the Oudomsay Committee on Investment Promotion and Management and Mr. Wang Zhen Li, President of the Yunnan-Oudomsay Samsao Jin Mao Company.

Mr. Sonesou Amphay, standing member of the Oudomsay Provincial Party Committee, and relevant officials witnessed the signing ceremony.

The project area covers a total area of 2,589 ha in five villages in Beng district, namely Khone, Sakhoi, Tong Thoune, Phulay and Chanmay.

Oudomsay province has granted a 40-year land concession to the Chinese investment company to implement its project activities, ranging from planting rubber trees and processing and exporting latex to China.

           40 years of lease in return to pay the debt settlement Loans this part of the debt deal settlement.  Loan the money than have no money to pay back then gave up the land for lease . Chinese will bring their own workers then the local Laotian lost the land and the Chinese don't hire them so Laotian have no land to farm and no jobs so well done .

          Those land are leasing to the China . Those part is of the debt settlement deal so Chinese have controlled of the land and all the rubber are belonged to the Chinese just like Vietnamese wild golf course and 5 stars hotel that belong to the Vietnamese and Vietnamese plantation in the south as well. Now the Russia would like Laos to pay them back the Loan on 2003 if Laos could not make the payment so Russia would like to do the same as Chinese and Vietnamese. They don't build factories in Laos because they have already built the factories in their countries so their people could have jobs .So they built Casinos , hotel and golf course so they could take the money from Lao tourist home to their countries. It is sad but it is the truth. Most of the Chinese and foreign companies would not hires Laotian any way. So hundred of thousand Laotian have to go to Thailand to work or first world countries .

         No body make a foul of of ourself when Laos could not earn money but spending and depending on foreign aid money plus corruption so  don't point finger to no one but yourself. Spending money that you don't have and then have to pay in high price...
