I heard that they are temporary closed as they are having the problem at the border between Thailand-Cambodia so I think you better wait for awhile

Come on Thai government lets be real just one look at the name of the Temple you know that is not yours its maybe close or even overlap your land because you move the border posts. hehehehe. Nothing serious guys just for a good laugh.

Come on Laotians !!!!! the emerald Buddha belong to Thai Siam more than 200 years. Moreover, originally, the emerald buddha emerged in Lanna, which is currently a part of Thailand now. HAHAHAHAHA, nothing serious guys. it's just a joke.

That is not funny, posh!!! As you knew that we sepparated the borders of the country by San-Pan-Num at the middle of the river, at the middle of mountain and the at the cliffy so that temple is located at the cliffy area where the Thailand is and Cambodia border is at the lower from the clif whice clearly sepparated the border between the 2 countries.

Ofcause the name was built by the ancient Khmer but at the present doesn't mean to belong to the origin. If like that Pasaht Wat Phu may also give back to Cambodia too?

Anyway, that is the problem between 2 countries. We better not to get anything involt with

Yes, Lanna Kingdom is now a part of Thailand as you said, they was unlucky that they lose their entire Land to their enemies: (Shan state) to Myanmar, and majority of their kingdom to Siam. So, compare to Lanxang Kingdom I think we were lucky as they lose only some parts of the kingdom (Isaan) to Siam and important thing we still have Laos where people are living and developing their home.

ในความเห็นของผมนั้น ที่เราสามารถแยกสลายหัวเมืองล้านนาและอีสานได้ ส่วนหนึ่งก็เพราะทั้งสองฟากนี้ มีสภาพที่เป็นหัวเมืองย่อยๆอยู่แล้วหน่ะครับ

อย่างทางล้านนา อาณาจักรล้านนาจริงๆล่มสลายไปตั้งแต่รัชกาลของสมเด็จพระเอกาทศรถแล้วหน่ะครับ พอมาถึงต้นรัตนโกสินทน์นั้น ฟากลุ่มแม่น้ำปิงและวังเป็นเขตของวงศ์เจ้าเจ็ดตน แต่ฟากแม่น้ำน่านและยม (คือเมืองแพร่เมืองน่าน) เป็นอีกกลุ่มอีกวงศ์หนึ่ง ในสมัยที่พระเจ้ากาวิละทรงเป็นพระเจ้าเชียงใหม่ ปกครองหัีวเมืองล้านนาทั้งปวงนั้น อาจจะไม่สงสัยในพระราชอำนาจของเชียงใหม่ต่อหัวเมืองล้านนาครับ แต่พอล่วงถึงยุคของพระเจ้าธรรมลังกา และพระเจ้าเชียงใหม่องค์ต่อๆมาแล้ว ผมว่าอำนาจของราชวงศ์เจ้าเจ็ดตนนั้น ไม่ได้ครอบคลุมทั่วหัวเมืองเหนืออีกต่อไปแล้วหน่ะครับ ทางฟากแพร่-น่าน ก็เป็นกึ่งๆอิสระ ทางฟากวงศ์เจ้าเจ็ดตนก็ดูแลเมืองเชียงใหม่ ลำปาง ลำพูน แลเมืองน้อยๆในสัีงกัีดทั้งหลายไป ดังนั้นเมื่อถึงเวลาถือกำเนิดรัฐชาตินั้น เชียงใหม่ ลำปาง แพร่ และน่าน จึงไม่สามารถสร้างรัฐชาติของตนเองได้หน่ะครับ ต้องอาศัยโอนไปตามผู้เข้มแข็งรอบๆคือ ไม่ไปร่วมแก๊งกับอังกฤษในฐานะหัวเมืองอารักขา ก็ต้่องอยู่กับฝ่ายสยามนี้แล

เช่นเดียวกันกับหัวเมืองทางอีสานหน่ะครับ การแตกสลายของอาณาจักรล้านช้าง ทำให้เกิดกลุ่มอิทธิพลใหม่ๆขึ้นในฟากอีสานมามากมาย
- ทั้งจากทายาทของล้านช้างเอง (คือแคว้นลาวทั้งสามก๊ก)
- กลุ่มของพระวอพระตา (ได้แก่เมืองอุบลราชธานีและยโสธร)
- กลุ่มของพระพรหมราชา เจ้าเมืองนครพนม และพระบรมราชา เมืองสกลนคร
- กลุ่มหัวเมืองเขมรป่าดงทั้งสาม คือ ขุขันธ์, สุรินทร์, สัีงขะ
- กลุ่มหัวเมืองที่ขึ้นกับอยุธยามาแต่โบราณคือ เมืองเพชรบูรณ์ หล่มเก่า และเมืองบริวาร -
- กลุ่มของเจ้าพระยานครราชสีมาและเมืองบริวาร (ทั้งนางรอง, พิมาย, ภูเขียว และพุทไธสง)ซึ่งขึ้นกับอยุธยามาแต่โบราณเช่นกัน
- กลุ่มที่อพยพมาตั้งบ้านเมืองใหม่ ทั้งของเจ้าพ่อพญาแลเมืองชัยภูมิ, เมืองจัตุรัส เป็นต้น
- กลุ่มเมืองน้อยทั้งหลายเช่น ภูเวียง กุดฉิมนารายณ์ สีทันดอน ฯลฯ ที่โดนยกขึ้นเป็นเมืองในรัชกาลที่ 3

จะเห็นว่ามีสารพัดแก๊งเลยหน่ะครับ และมีกลุ่มชนหลากหลาย ทั้งลาวลุ่มที่อพยพมาจากทางเวียงจันทน์ (อย่างกลุ่มของพระวอพระตา), พวกลาวลุ่มที่แยกวงออกมา อย่างนครพนมและสกลนคร, พวกลาวสูงที่โดนกวาดต้อนมา, กลุ่มชาวเขมรป่าดง, ชาวส่วย ฯลฯ จึงเป็นการง่ายที่รัฐบาลหรือราชสำนักไทยจะเข้าไปจัดรูปแบบการปกครอง และสร้่างรัฐชาติในดินแดนเหล่านี้ ที่ยังไม่มีแนวคิดเรื่องรัฐชาติปักหลักถาวรมาก่อน
