Wise men once said give people some fishes they will finish them up in a few days. Teach people how to fish they'll feed themself forever. Next when go back to our motherland i'll take some soccers balls with me to give to the kids. Thank you for reminding....
I wonder what will happen if Lao people in Laos go on stike? Will there be any blood shed? What ever it is, somebody need to start making noises or do something to help the big people come to their senses, before we'll regret after all said and done!
As they said if the door don't squeak it will not get lubricated!!

The land and the country are belonged to the people not belonged to the government or some powerful people in the government who are making all the decision that is not fair to the people. Of course , we could make the different if we have a chance and allow us to do so.
You're too naive, power comes from the barrel of a gun.
I prefer the power comes from the barrel of the oil.
Use energy and your resources wisely; your can use your energy to created life or destroyed life. you can use your enery to put a smile on people's faces or put tear on their eyes. You can use you energy to united or divided laos. Any decision you make have a consequences....I urge you please think carefully before you bring death and hardship to us all.
Talk to your friends, your parents or better yet... make a call to your relatives in laos, i am pretty they will give you planty of advices....good luck.

Listen kid, if you've read the very top of the posts you'll understand what people are talking about instead of asking so many questions even a blind person don't ask this much questions?

they will be shooting by AK47..
Don't even think about it.There will be no strike or protest in Laos period. The government employees or the factories workers are on strike or the farmers protest of unfair that their farm's land or their land have been taken away for development. That is sad that life is not fair. That is still better than get shot by AK 47.

how do i build when i have no material to build with. i can't go chop down a tree. that is government own. everyday i struggle to find food for myself to survive. i barely have enough strength to get up everyday let alone have energy to build anything.
in a socialist society only big brothers knows what is good for you. you don't get to make choice. that is why they exist. they exist to make decision for you. if there are still poor people and poor living condition it just mean big brothers didn't get to you yet. just wait a little longer.

Yes of course , in the countries that the government will make all the decisions for every body which the government thought that is good regardless of the people like it or not. So no strike and no protest period. what ever the decisions are every body must obey . The government decisions what should be built and whom should do what and no questions ask . You have a job to be farmers and workers and very little chance to do something else that is going to be .

USA, Canada, France, and etc.... are not third world country, but Laos on the other hand is one of the third world country. It would be less embarrassing for you to have the right info before making any comments.
The topic is "YOU CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENT" and no one is asking anyone to cut down trees, go on hunger strike, staging protest against the government or do anything that's harmfull or illegal. Yes!!! financial support is nice especially for those who have a lot. And for those who have little or nothing few words of pray and an encouragement will do...o.k..... It doesn't matter where you lived...America, Canada, Laos, Thailand, China, Veitname....enough you get my point.. You can make a different.
Brother kothanek, go on peaceful demonstration and ask for fairness of their farm land that the government will take them away and lease them to the Vietnamese to build golf course which does not create many jobs for local people who lost their land and the people at That Luang that the government tell them to move so the government will take their land and pay for the Chinese debt settlement loans and lease them for 90 years. So those land could be developed for our guess billionaires and millionaire to enjoy playing golf while they spending their vacation in Laos. Most of the money will benefit the hotel and golf course owners not the local people but the local people who are suffering of unfair treatment. As we said the country and the land are belonged to the people not belonged to some group of people or one political party. But it seems to be the other way around now. If the people are peaceful and standing up and asking for justice and protest peacefully , should be no problems because in the Lao constitution Article 2 that the people specially the farmers and workers are the power of the country and Article 31 the citizen have the right to peaceful demonstration. Also taking bribes and corruption are illegal. Laos is civilize nation if some one do any thing without violent and under the laws and constitution , they are not going to be shot as some said unless they commit terrorist and put the nation and country in danger.
The Constitution of
theLao People's Democratic Republic
Article 2. The state of the Lao People's Democratic Republic is a People's Democratic State. All powers are of the people, by the people and for the interests of the multi-ethnic people of all strata in society with the workers, farmers and intellectuals as key components.
Article 31. Lao citizens have the right and freedom of speech, press and assembly; and have the right to set up associations and to stage demonstrations which are not contrary to the law.

The countries that are already well developed which are called first world countries. The developing countries such as Laos , Vietnam , Cambodia Myanmar and Philippines they called third world countries.
