Thank you China . As we experience in the past every penny that china spent on Laos are well calculated with good expectation in return economically and politically in demand.

This is a good start for Laos engagement with China. Let's not the US and Thailand interfere with us Laos again. Remember Thailand did help the US bomb Laos 24/7 to slow down China influence in Laos. Even watch the youtube video about Nixon and Henry kissenger about Laos and China relationships.

Did you know that in 2009 the US secretary stated " US ARE NOW BACK IN SOUTH EAST ASIA"? this is all about China and Laos relationship in the region. And now the US is working with Thailand in a more internal strategy with Thailand relationship with Laos.

PLEASE BE OPEN MINDED BUT DON'T BE TO CLOSED MINDED EITHER. THIS IS ABOUT LAO PEOPLE SAKE!

Do you think that is their side (China) of the bargain to help in improving Lao competence, and the justification for not hiring Lao in their on-going projects in Laos? I mean since they are already helping educated some Lao, they probably think its the Lao government duty now to provide jobs for them after their studies.

But don’t you think it is a good return of investments for both China and Laos if Chinese businessmen will give job opportunities to Laotians who finished their China-funded studies in the businesses they opened in Laos? Besides, they are the next big investors next to Thailand. Giving China-trained/ educated Laotians supervisory, managerial or even rank and file career opportunities can be advantageous for their business because they get the training (and hopefully the mind set on how to run a business Chinese’s way) from China and they speak local language. That is assuming that at least those Laotians also learned a little bit of Chinese language during the time they spent getting educated in China.

Just my 2 centavos.

I do believe that can be modify into a two ways diversion between China and Laos.  I think the only reason why they bring in Chinese workers is, because Laos labor and fast pace work need to be done on certain time frame in the development sector.  Laos don't have any business or investor large enough to hire Lao workers is because there is no company or manufacture in Laos. So business can't work with out nothing being done efficiency.

And also, the Lao government should find ways to create jobs for Lao workers, and also advertise Laos product to there neighbors first, before extending or risking to further boost there income.  And business is always risky, because you have to do a lot of research on consumer and  people interest on certain item or production.

If Lao students who graduated from Chinese university , get the real education then they should capable or be able to do a very good jobs if China University are really good and have been taught the real education which are the same level of the international education .There are a lot of graduated students from  European countries and UCLA and USC or many university in the United States still be able to get jobs over sea  and sometime the companies want them before they graduated so it depends on what fields  the industries need them. If Lao students graduated and not qualify and are not capable to do the jobs so no companies in the world will hire them. It just waste the time to go to study in China.

The Lao government have to put someone out to make everything work. Laos is lacking on transportation on good and trade, and is lacking on Air transport as well. Laos government need to help those wanting to do business after graduation. Those student maybe study very hard to get to oversea, but lack of support of the government will not help bring in money into Laos. If the Laos government uses a net work business with other country it can also boost employment and creating other jobs as well. I think the best partner for Laos to work with is Thailand, since Thailand is welling to work with Laos in many fields. And also open a dialogue with those over sea to do business with Laos. There are Lao,Hmong Mien etc... over sea who are ready to build Laos and to improve Laos people and country as a whole.

Is just that the Laos Government must have an open mind and think about Laos prosperity in a longer term for Lao people.

"LaoNork still love our LaoNai in Laos just remember that."
