Sitthiporn Southammavong, or nok, is now a new announcer for the Lao National English News TV on Channel 3. She was also the MC during the opening and closing ceremony of the 25th SEA Games in Vientiane.

Check out her voice, and please do give her some of your comments.

Thanks

She's pretty good, at least I can understand her.  If you're to compare her to the professional international standard then she's not quite there yet.

She's good.  LNTV production is definitely not good so that definitely hinder her presentation.

I m not good in foreign languages, but when you listen to italians, spainese, german, russians, most of the europians, i will give her an EXCELLENT.
the reason: these above, they are to close to english speaking ppl, the same language family.
asian countries are so far and ahve nothing in common with english. everything you
speak and write in english, all are new.
Excellent girl.

_______

Maybe you meant "some people need to spell chek and proof read their piece before submitting their suggestion. "

Yes I agree with you that people need to spell check their English before submitting. For example see below:

Maybe you meant "some people need to spell check and proof read their piece (piece of what?) before submitting their suggestion. "

Unbelievable!

Her accent is either American or Central Canda, like Toronto. Her pronunciation is almost flawless. She is very very good. I need to start somehow listening to this online every day. Probably a great way to get the news from Laos and also to get the official government outlook on the news.

Laos seems to be improving in many areas quickly.

This woman must have spent a considerable time studying in America, more than likely when she was young.
