Sorry. I for one don't want to associate with the movement of these red-shirt groups. I'm Lao; they are Thai (I don't think they think they are Lao or care for that matter). We should not interfere with their internal affairs.

Althought having many relatives in the other bank of the Mekong, we should not interfere in their internal affairs, it is time that thailand is on the top of its history...Red, Yellow, Blue, or Purple, thai still are thai. So let them manage to find better solution than having to kill each other...

The recent development in Thailand is no longer an internal affair of the Thais. It cannot be internal issue when it affects Lao PDR's economy directly. In the event of the Thai civil or military crack down, Lao PDR will be mostly likely faces with massive influx of refugees. Lao PDR is the most likely safe haven for Thai refugees due to the cultural and historical ties.

Lao PDR did not create all these situations in Thailand but the situation in Thailand is pushing Lao PDR into a dilema.

These rich oxford-trained chinese ethnic youngsters will make thai kill thai and then laugh themselves off to the bank like usual. They are applying the emergency decree towards the red-shirts only but not towards the other groups. The thai army must stop all these B..S... and stops being used as a killing tool of the thai ethnic. I just wonder and still wonder there are any other country in the world would charged Thaksin of corruption by being too successful and too intelligent to make money. Thaksin has the brain and he was a billionaire long before he became PM. Thailand was in debt and the economy was very bad and a lot od drug dealers and alot of under ground gambling and a lot of human being until Thaksin was elected and became PM so he got Thailand out of debt and turn the Thai economy around and less drug dealers ? less crimes. Thaksinbuilt the new airport which no other PM could be able to build. Also Thaksin created the cheap health care and welfare program so the poor could benefit fromthe program. That unique welfare relif fund whichgave the emerency cash to the poor who are needed and the cheap health care program which made Thaksin wonthe heart and mind of the poor people who truely understand their need..So for the corruption chartge by abused his power about the tax to prevent the competition and make the stock that go up and down to mmake profit just like oil companies with Dick Cheney and Former president Bush and a lot of billionaires who lobby and give the money to support the law maker and sanators and congressmanto vote pass the law allow the oilto go up and up so there is no laws again that .so theere are a lot of the billionaire just [haksin . so only in[haland that [haksin is guilty because after the military coup theyellow shirt had changed the law and the constitution.

I belive because of Thaksin is intelligent and has the brain to make money and find the unique way to winthe heart and mind of the poor people to vote for him or perhaps the people are willing to sacrifice thier lives for what his belief that is democracy and freedom. So the Thai Chinese are afraid of the ching Mai and the Esan people to have too much power onthe governemt.so they got rid off Thaksin. Today no election there are 2 /3 of the parliamentmenber are yellow shirt who are Thai Chinese and upper class and rich people.They came to power with the election.

If Thaksin is guilty so do Dick Cheney and the oil companies , Bill Gate and other billionaires who lobby the law makers to vote and legalize a lot of of things including selling weapons to the third world countries. Thaksin didn't take a penny from Thailand but his business and stock.

If the red shirt are in power and of course that Thaksin would be innocwnt and a quitter and also the yellow shirt will be called the international terrorists who shut down the airport and Abhisit would be called the muerder of 21 people who were killed by the order of the Abhisit to cracck down on the red shirt protesters which were not uneccessery cracck because that was not the angry moba and riot and looting ,broke down the stores windows , and stole any things and burn down the building like the LA riot and the angry Muslim mob even though the government were not used the military and brought their tanks and turn thier guns on their own citizen unlike the abhisit government who is not selected by the people bbut is selected by the military dictator.
