The king and the members of the royal family don't pay any tax , only collecting tax from the people. Also there are very good law to protect the king and the royal family . correct me if I am wrong. The laws in Thailand are tough and very strick specially the lese Majesty law and the sentence are worst than the violent crime. Am I right or wrong?

there s a law , if who insult and say bad about thai king, who will in Jail, don't you know about that, so we'd better not talk about it.

So it is forbidden to know the truth and ask questions about the fact that is not the insult just need to know more about the law and why ? Even God there is not forbiddden to question .

Brother Dark Angel, According to my International Democracy Standard, Thailand is not Democacy Country. They are absolutely Monarchy. you guys might see their citizens Insulted their own government, But that doesn't mean they are democracy. everytime we see them using the Word democracy, they make a joke out of themself. Even His Majesty King himself said Quote'' a Western style democracy is not fit to a thai democracy..

Japan , England are monarchy that is democratic countries. Canada and Australia also ahre the same queen with England are also democratic countries. So a lot of countries in Europe specially more demcracy and freedom is Norway and thier king just like regular citizen and these kings and queen are not involved in politic. They are just part of traditioal culture of their countries and have no power in the government but I am not sure about the Arabian king .It seems more like the old day king and still have a lot of power such as the king of Saudi Arabia.

I don't blame any body and that is not my coversation. Ijust curious about the law and the system that I don't understand. Laos is poor because of many thing combine such Landlock, and war for so long . Even could bring back since1779 when Laos lost the independent to Siam.
