Vientiane - Laos - one of the world's most heavily bombed countries with almost 40 per cent of its land surface still littered with unexploded ordnance - will host an international meeting on cluster munitions, media reports said Monday....

Was it Thailand Included ??? Count them-in Ok, They need to take some responsible for their Action. if they are not in. Just call-them up let' them know. Can't let them get awy with it..

Thailand is not state party to the CCM ( convention on cluster munitions ), but Thailand will attend as observer becoz Thaialnd has stockpile of Cluster Munitions ( ລະເບີດບົ່ມບີ ) during the secret war in Laos (1964-73 ) Thailand was the base of American airforce dropping CM on Laos, Thailand is America pupet Goverment, so far 14 provinces out of 17 provinces in Laos are the the most contaminated area by CM.
All the world will know about stupid thing what America and it's Pupet Goverment had done with Laos, Lao people will never forget it.

regards the CCM ( Convention on Cluster Munitins ), in ASEAM there are only Laos had ratified the treaty, Philippines and Indonesia are signatory states , the rest are still considering to join the CCM, Laos hopes that ASEAN members, especially our neighbors, namely : Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar will consider very positively in the near future in joining the CCM.

Lao people have live throught a deep pain for decades now and they will continue to suffer for may decades to come, about 40: of our land were contaminated by UXO and othe ERW ( Eplosive Remanent of War). The apinful exprerience of the Lao people must not be repeated anywhre in the world.

Laos will host the 1MSP to CCM in Vientiane from 9-12 November 2010, more that 100 Countries, UN's line agencies , INGOs and big media from the world (CCN.AFP,BBC and other will com to Laos on that occasion.

Lao people should be united forever to over come the challenges coursed by UXO
