I have cable  TV, but very few english channels. That's why my other option is to have a satellite dish installed in my house instead. something like the one in thailand, like true visions.

Uhm then buy a satelite disc and sit back and enjoy. In Pakse we have cable tv which provides you nearly 100 channels, all sort not only anglo saxon countries. Pay some hundred thousand kips when you first connection and then 30 000kips a month.

I tthink before going for a satellite TV technician you should  install a good tv aerial for boosting the signals. Even then you would also able to grt other good channels also.. But also keep in mind that a error free aerial installation is also very important for getting good signals..
