Oh this shop is in Vientiane, in Pakse there is a big super market next to Grand Champa Hotel, they also sell all sort of things....Lcd tv, fridges, washing machines, electric goods etc...If you live in Pakse then I think you already knew.
Make sure you get an electrician to install it, because there was people dying because of electrocute, it must have a ground connection cable so it reduces the dangerous.
I saw in a shop in Samsen tai street selling this sort of things brand name Toshiba, go and ask them they might have something you are looking for.
Those brands are made in Thailand and I don't like anything which is made in Thailand. Is there any other brand from China or Malaysia?
Why? thai products are generaly much better quality than Chinese.. and more expensive. Lao people, if they have enough money usualy prefer buying thai product rather than chinese. they buy chinese only if they don't have enough money for thai.

Lao people hate Thai and everything about Thai and those Thai products also we wanted to ban their products
What are you asking about? In Laos we don't have such a hightech things like that.
If you visit Laos we have boiling water for you everyday service
I think this guy above me here has never been in Lao ever since he left. Lao has all kind of thing right now. Water heater, washing machine, noodle blender and even a microwave oven. It's all in the pocket & how much do you want to spend? In my sister's house in Savannakhet, they have all these things but I didn't pay attention to what brand they have. They buy them in Savannakhet & some of them from Mukdahan. As for water heater they use for shower, it's not really a Hi-tec but it is cheap & popular to use esp. in South East Asia countries. In western country, we do not use the water heater like that, we have modern furnace computerize system which control the water temperature ( hot or cold ). Some equipted by gas and some by electric.
So, I think it's about time 4 this guy to go back & visit his motherland and see w/his own eyes.
