HERE is the astonishing footage and photographs of a Canadian jet pilot who managed to eject from his F18 just seconds before it crashes in a ball of flames.
The pilot was performing a low altitude pass during a practice session in Alberta when his plane lost control and spun towards the ground.
In the footage, provided by Associated Press, you can see the pilot eject. Two seconds later his plane is engulfed in flames as it hits the ground.
It is understood he is now recovering in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

This cash is suspicious because it comes just over a week after Canada's Defense Minister announced that the country will purchase 65 new F35 Lightning II from Lockheed Martin in the U.S.A. This purchase is worth $9 billion CAD with maintenance cost raising the total price of these fighter jets up to $16 billion. This acquisition is not popular. Maybe this crash is meant as a show to the canadian public that the F18 is outdated and unrealiable thus the purchase is neccessary.
