Bcoz English is craziest & hardest language to understand. One word can be described in so many meaning, therefore it's better to write it correctly to prevent the misunderstanding. Even when they're talking to each other, more often than not, they ask "how do you spell it"?...

I intentionally missed spelled those words just to see if it maters to any of you and sure enough someone really took the time and corrected my spelling alright. How about making sure that the word Laotian ( Lao-o-cean) is pronounced correctly by all the Lao people who lives in the US and if you happen to be one of the people who's been calling your-self Lay-o-cean then you too!
