I've been to Hanoi , it's much cleaner than Vientiane ! Actually the center of Hanoi city looks really like somewhere in Europe .

Vientiane really can't compare itself to Hanoi .

I went to Hanoi in 2006 , and I was really impressed . Their streets , boutiques with latin alphabet names ... really like a European city.

This is Thanh Cong Lake in Hanoi , the water is super clean.

See how clean the street is :

Hai Ba Trung Street . Doesn't this look like in Europe ? I bet you can lay down on that street and sleep . Super clean .

That's so true and I can't agree more. Calling Vientiane a capital city is quite embarrasssing because it looks like a rural in the West.

Each time I visit Samakomlao, I see most of the time the majority visitors are from USA like today, only 2 Laos flags the rest from america. Sometime 1 or 2 from Thailand....rarely from Vietnam.

Actually without Laos' suppliment of energy , those countries are still fine .

China and Vietnam only wanna build hydro-electricity dams in Laos because they don't wanna destroy their own rivers .

I prefer Hanoi, the Vietnamese capital more than HCMC. Central Saigon doesn't really look much. Even the photos in this thread that shows a lot of cars and SUVs do not look like HCMC (I'm not saying they aren't; just that they dont look like theyre in HCMC).

Yer , you're right . I'm in Saigon right now and it depends on where you are in Saigon .

This picture is District 9. There are many cars and trucks in District 9 because this place gather the largest and most modern road systems in Saigon . And these roads are leading to the sea port . That's why you see many trucks on the road.

The city center is District 1 , District 1 doesn't allow trucks to drive in from 6am to 8:30pm , so if you're in the center of Saigon , you'll see less cars and no trucks .

This is a normal street in District 1:

Normal streets in District 5 , 3 , Tan Binh , Binh Thanh usually have crazy and chaotic traffic like this :

Streets in Financial Center of Saigon is very large and clean , if you're in the Financial Center , you won't see the chaotic traffic because this is a very modern place .

Next to the Financial Center is East - West Highway , this is one of the most modern Highway system in SEAsia , it connects all the districts in center Saigon.

If you visit Saigon , you should see it. you'll be surprised .

speaking of hospitality, vietnam is far better than Laos. Vietnamese hoe will do anything from a$$ licking to double anal penetration, with service minded attitute. Lao hoe, at best, can be f#cked both holes but only 1 c#ck each and with less willingness. in some worse case, some Lao hoes even refused to suck c#ck. a lot of improvement still needed for Lao hoes. so, it's time to step up ur game ladies, serve ur customer right and u'll get even bigger tip
