I'm a little confused, is " Buadeng " in love with the guy who's from the communist side?
At the end why was her step-dad try to kidnap her & how come in the film it shows that it was the communist soldier who shoots at Buadeng's step-dad while he was pointing his gun at one of the Royal Lao soldier ( leading man)??
It turns out that the people from the past were better film makers. They high light the way stories are being told instead of concentrate on slam bang action and visual gimmickry, thus stories are better told in the past despite limitations of technology.
