Lao overseas cannot afford to buy this very expensive land but Lao people who live in Laos can.

Lao nok can afford those land and house.

They do not buy its because it will not be under their own name. Until the government changed it position and let Lao people born in Lao, entitle to buy land under their own name. Too much problem under other family member's name.

Until then Lao nok will continue to build their new homes in America. The Tempature is the same, and the Lao community is getting larger.  But I know most Lao love and care about their old country. Especially the older generation.
