China and Vietnam are too powerful. There's not much that Laos can do.

The only thing Laos can do is blend in with our powerful neighbors. Lao Gov. has failed the Lao people once again. We will never be united without any strong leadership for our own people future. We will just deminsh without knowing who we are or a country we once knew.
