Hi I'm from Thailand I'm just 14 years old I saw a video clib Umm I must apologize for Lao people I'm in north/east. but we doesn't. mean Lao is not good I ever went to Lao about last year and when I alived to exchange money I lend 20 baht and had an old man said "ข่อยบ่มีเงีนให้เจ้าดอก"I thought its beautiful language I like the word เจ้า Sorry Sorry Lao Fighting!!!! but I'm. don't. like Lao people blame Thai very badddd

Yes it is usually those Thai from Bangkok who still used this "Lao" a Thai slang towards someone who is uncivilized and dirty. Thai old drama and new drama movies still used "Lao" to swear at someone in many Thai entertainment movies.

Also, even if Isarn are mad at those in Bangkok it doesn't matter anyways they aren't doing enough to fight against these racial slur that started along time ago. So now it is us Lao people in Laos and oversea who must fight back.

Those Thai in Bangkok who still used "Lao" are just in a time of a ticking clock to happen that will burst into people to people conflict. Or maybe it is already happening??

And also, have anyone realized that when a Thai asked what nationality or ethnic you are. Then you reply.. I'm Lao or "Pien khon Lao" they start bursting out laughing at us because they think we are looking down at our self? Thai always laugh at us everytime we called our self Lao or someone else Lao.

That is why bad Thai society are today and how they are now confused with that of Lao people and our country versus the Lao Lao of Thai version to a negative slang words. Even if they don't mean it, they actually going to say it again over and over for the next generation of Thai to used it against all Lao people in the world.

When I hear stories about Thai society, portraying Lao people and our heritage, I go out there and tell everyone how Thai society are and how the people of Thailand has always seperate Lao ethnic and nationals from the rest of the Thai people in Thailand. In Thailand, Thai discriminate mostly Isarn and Lao people from Laos and its been this way for many generation of Thai to looked down on the Lao people for our heritage and our vibrant culture.
Even the past King of Thailand hated the Lao people from history and even today he sees us as nothing more then slave people. Oh another thing I would like to mention that in another terms for "Lao" in Thai is "Slave or Slave labors." Thai royalist and royal used this word a lot in the past. Even some of the Lao old generation remember this slang from such old past. I mean I don't want to bring up this Thailand Royal terms against the Lao people, but the more I study about my culture.

The more I'm starting to dislike the Thai and Thailand as a whole. It makes me sick from the inside to know how much our people even suffer from these people and we still are. Which is why I said we are too nice and too generous towards there sweet Thai talk. It's time that we being too dam nice to them since it is the right time for all Laotian around the world especially our Lao folks in Laos to be a strong determine people against those who bring us down. We shall teach our neighbors and our allies of such hate by Thai society.
