Make the Businesses law and regulation more favorable; Make it the most favorable law than China, USA or even Thailand, we need high stander law to complete with more rich neighbors. Laos need to show that it take its law seriously and will persecute and make example out of it….and even defend a company if they are in the right.

100% make the law better than Singapore or any neighbouring countries . So every corporations big and small would like to come in Laos.More investors will want to open their companies and corporations in Laos. Laws must be trust and could be enforced by the world trade organization and the United Nation . So the investors will not feel to be rid off and scandal and the corruption law must also be implemented. No more white envelop from the bottom up to the top . When the foreign investors are protected by the good trading law and the United Nation to enforce the laws.Then of course, there will be more foreign investors would like to invest in Laos which will help Lao people to get out of poverty .

What does Laos have to make the foreign investors to be interested to come and invest in Laos ? Does Laos have Iron ore, Aluminum,copper, teak , rubber, gold , oil , cheaper labors force...etc.. ?
Will all the promises and the projects ever succeed ?
Changing the trade law alone is not going to bring in many Investors into the Country, But also Diplomats were cardinal for attracting foreing Investors since they acted as mirrorof the Country to the outside world. ''And open mind and open borders,'' Laos could attract many brilliant entrepreneurs from around the region as well as Europ and America. That would seem, On the surface, to be quit logical. It make perfect sense to invite foreigners with money to Laos. Let them invest in various enterprises and create jobs for Lao citizens. Laos is , effectively , deterring the very people it needs to help economic of Laos. Another thing,Changing the law so that present investors can stay, and future investors will be encouraged to come. If influential organizations such as the economic develoment council of Laos and politicians who genuinely care about lao's economic future would throw their weight behind Reforming the laws that so adversely affect investors, The situation would be wastly improve for every one involved... Who, In the right mind, would want to invest here, Build up a successful business, and then leave ??? It makes sound economic sense to reward investors with a path to '' Temporary and to permanent residence'' so they will stay , Invest further and create more jobs for Lao people.
Well talk is cheap, and its no good coming up with solutions that are not possible, under the current legislation and lao trade laws still very weak to protect the Investors. So to achieve, Action is what's necessary. The law needs to be changed, Period........

Mr Dreamer, you're underestimate Laos, Laos is not poor country, the Systems that made Lao poor... Oh by the way, Laos has all of those stuffs that you mention on above..... and we still couldn't dig it up ourself because we lack of technology and knowledged that's why we openned our country to the outside world to come in and do the works. this is what all the countries around the region do it, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia. etc.... and Laos still has plenty of natural resourses more than the neighboring countries Ok.....

If that is the truth , why don't the Lao government and the law makers change The laws and improve the laws and policies to be better. So the foreign investors could come and build factories in Laos and create a lot of jobs for the Lao people. Make the law that foreign companies must train and hide the Lao people first before bring in their workers.
