Most of Lao student are very poor in Math and Physics unlike Singaporean and South Korean students that are the back bone of the nation which could transform their countries from none skill workers to skill workers and from poverty to the most modern countries in the world in only few decades after the war.
Math, Physic, chemistry and Science are tough subjects. When i was in high school in 1964, they encourage students to study hard on those subjects by multiply math and Lao language score by 4, physic by 3, chemistry by 3 and science by 2.

Those subjects are the real knowledge and the real education.
Thats laos for you. Some are gifted with opportunities and some are not and born and the wrong place at the wrong time. Physic is hard, I have to learn that in a week for my A/P class and a Final Test.
I say blame the guy who runs the country with 20 wives and money stack up in his pocket. Not taking care of his people and building the country and have good education for everyone.
