(KPL) Ice cream shop Yoqueen was open on Sunday, June 12, to sell Australian style frozen yogurt and smoothies for Vientiane residents. The shop is run by local businesswoman.

“The Yoqueen ice-cream is located at Saphanthong Tai village, Sisattanark district, Vientiane Capital, near the Rattana Business Administration College,” said the Shop Manager, Ms. Keodavone Mingmala.
The shop sell ice-cream imported from Australia and is the first to sell low-fat ice-cream in Laos, according to Ms. Keodavone.
“The Lao women are afraid of fat but Yoqueen yogurt is low-fat,” said Ms Keodavone. “I have eaten ice-cream at many shops but I find this Yoqueen ice-cream tastes good and has low-fat,” said a customer Ms. Ny Saya. Till June 28, any customer can buy a cup of ice-cream at the shop at a price of 8,000 kip and get one free cup of ice-cream for every purchase of two cups.
