Thank you Thai people for helping Laotian but, you have to check around your back yard first before you're giving help to other people. There are over million poverty Thai students are needing help from their government to attend in college or university after they graduated from high school ( Moh Pai ). There are million of your young students have to drop out school after graduated from high school cause lack of money to continue to study in university, and they are out of work since.

I found this comment highly exaggerating --   and without providing adequate info. The fact is that as of now most children in Thailand go to school without tutition charge. Everything in the education system is free of charge. All public schools would also provide text books. In most cases primary schools around the Kingdom provide lunch to kids. Free education started many years ago from primary to secondary levels. This free-education system was enlarged during the Aphisith government to cover college level. It means that kids can walk freely into schools to colleges until the completion of university level, if they could. There is totally nothing to pay for except for their meals and transportation. And the government are providing millions of scholarship programmes to school kids every year. Not realy bad hmmmmm...

Just in case, you can also help find "underprivileged" kids whom you said are "in milions" in term of numbe. Bring them to any education office near you.

I am very proud to join others saying that there is totally nothing wrong in helping our neighbours to prosper. Thailand as well as governments in neighbouring countries have faced a grave problem in recent years -- exodus of illegal labour forces into Thailand - which are also "in millions". These migrating workers cause social and political problems not only in the Kingdom but also in their own home. There is no need to further explain how serious the problems are. Helping our neighbours to educate their on people, and to create job is strategically inportant though.

Regards

This prove my point Esan are not Lao.  Esan betrayed Lao in the past, Esan will betray Lao in the future.  Lao are better then Esan, Esan are Lao slaves, and happy to be Siamese, then later happy to be Thai(Created in 1939).

Esan are Jealous of Lao success in recent years. Jek THai hates everyboy, and all they care is about making money.

American and Japan has been giving the Siamese(Thai) scholoarships for decades.  Yet they do not brag about it.

Only SIamese(Thai) think highly of themselves.  And the only countries the Siamese(THai) can brag to is Laos and Cambodia.  But not for very long. Laos and Cambodia will not need Siam(Thailand) as much as Siamese(THai) will need them.

Siamese(Thai) need electricity from Laos PDR to supplies to its 65 000 000 population. Siamese(Thai) will need oil from Cambodia to supplies its 65 000 000 population.

Where as Laos PDR (6.5million) and Cambodia (13 million) population will have plenty to sell to Thailand.

Siamese(Thai) in the next couple years, can see what real SEA  culture and tradition will look like.  Laos and Cambodia will showcase it to the world.  Will Siamese(THai) look on and admire.

I agree! But also you have to understand that these barbaric Siamese will move into our country and will try to stir problems for us just so we would loss image with other country and people. These Siamese will always do harm for both Laos and Cambodia in any ways as possible!

Beware of these Siamese/Thai in the future because one day they will backstab all of us because Lao people are known to be too nice with them. History has shown this and our ancestor has always taught us about these barbaric Siamese.

Even look at what they have done to those EsanThai. They are no longer respect their Lao identity anymore, but are a portrayal of their own kinship of their Lao ancestor for 200 years! They are no longer our Pi-nong, but just our old neighbors now. *

When Siamese(THai) smile at Lao or Cambodian, they have a knife hiding behind their back.

When Siamese smile at Farang, their legs are wide open.  And their hands WAI to their master.

Today, Lao smile at Siamese(Thai), we are in a defence posture. We are ready to defend ourselves.  Simese(Thai) are neighbor, not pi-nong.
