I knew only under table admission fee to attend some University without take the examination and cost you at least 80,000.00baht ( Eighty Thousand Thai Baht ) is about $2700.00 usd.

Mostly Colleges and Universities in Laos are public and owned by the Government and Lao people, those are free for all of Lao student to study but you have to pass attending examination to be in there for sure. That is mean the student don't have to pay for, they study for free in Laos. They have private high schools but not college or university yet.

Who care about attending university in Laos anyway? even though you finish with high degree in Accounting you ain't gonna get a job and beside it's low paying job. It's good to go and get your knowledge for future use. It's not what you know it's WHO you know and the under table play a part in Laos system these day. That's why mostly young people alway try to find the easy way to make money, but ususally when they make that kind of money they make more then the doctor, lawyer's salary ' monthly income. Young students in Laos today are looking forward to go to University to learn english or other foreign languages to get better job with foreigner not Lao's government. Actually man, I use to think like u that everyone wants to come to U.S.A. People do make good money in there own country and live pretty well than us here in the USA.
I do know 2 people in laos working at the big banks and having a decent paycheck and living wealthy.
So under graduated is around $300 bucks a year and Graduated is $3,000 that don't seem to bad. Thanks guys, need to know cause I'm gonna kick the old lady back to laos. ^^

If u learning grammar from international school besides the school in the USA, that GOOD FOR YOU. Cuz we don't talk or write proper grammar in the streets. Thats only for lawyers and politics.
