I usually do my construction estimate by hand. It works but honestly it takes forever, and sometimes I skip a line without noticing. Later it messes with the numbers.

I’ve been hearing a lot about digital takeoff tools. Some guys say it saves them hours, others say it’s not that big of a deal. I don’t really know what to believe.

Has anyone here actually switched? Did it really help or is it just another cost? Just trying to figure out if moving from manual is worth it.
