Why is my touch screen not working iphone after a drop?

If your touch screen not working iphone started after a physical impact, even if the glass isn't cracked, the internal ribbon cables might have come loose. The display and the touch sensors are connected to the logic board by delicate connectors; a hard jar can slightly unseat them. You can try applying very gentle pressure to the area near the top of the screen (near the earpiece) to see if it re-establishes a connection, but be careful not to crack the glass. If the screen remains dead to touch, you’re likely looking at a professional repair to replace the display assembly.
