I dig the Singapore uniform, very SWAT like, very modern looking.

The Lao one looks outdated, even if it is a color change.

How come the Lao police do not carry anything? They don't carry guns, radio, or what? Put some technology on the uniforms and it will look more like police.

Lao policemen are very slim !
and they carry nothing, except their mobile phone.

I don't think Lao policemen can outrun the thieves or the gunmen. They are so skinny and lack of healthy foods. They don't even have the batons or cell phones.

I have to agree with the comment above that Lao policemen don't look fit. They are thin, and not healthy. I am not sure if they can physically handle the bad guys.

lao policemen need to gain weight and work out, if policemen too thin there is no bad people will afraid of them, they don't look strong and soo gay.

I think laos police have to eat more and practise more,
I mean they should have bigger muscle and look stronger
then the uniform will look nicer and GREEN looks much better than blue

Well, when was the last time criminals were olympic runners and athletes?

Japanese police officers don't carry guns.

Guns are needed for what? A fire fight. When you live in a peaceful country like Laos, its not needed. Same for Japan.

I don't know how Thai policemen wer the top boots. It is too hot to wear the boots and their uniforms are too tight. Besides, Thai policemen wear too many insignias and badges while they are on duty.

I heard they are all officers, hardly to see private 1st or 2nd class, they got promoted from private to offcer right away, there is no rank between, either the soldier.

blue! green is for military. (the phillipines police cap make them look like security guards) lao police need to just lose the white sash and place a nice metal badge on the chest. and then go eat something.

unit form is not a big deal, any country had there own tast, but ilike lao police don't carry gun or stick, it looks peaceful ( reality still love Lao, it's peaceful and no terrible crimes), not like USA and another country have to deal with a lot of stupid crime. all we need is have a nice , helpful and polite officer in out country, that's most important thing than a uniform.

Lao police needs to get into the gym a little bit eh, they need to look tough, intimidate - they look like a boy scout. their uniform is outdated, need to be update to date with the rest of the world.

Those police don't look like they can fight of the bad guys , and I don't like the blue uniforms those reminded me of the inmates' uniforms. Those sages are dated and unnecessary

In the Philippines, I think every city has a different uniform.
Each department, uniform varies, if you work in traffic, homicide, drug enforcement, special operations or anti terrorism.

I like the way Lao police look just fine. No need for silly gun or to look macho. Lao police are freindly not scary, when the policeman goes to the market or gets on the bus the people aren't scared.

Not the same with Thai, they carry big 10mm with soft nose bullets, wear sunglasses, try to push people around and take money. Thai seem extremely corrupt.

Singapore look competent, not scary but they know what they are doing, probably highly paid and trained.
