Spring rolls, this is not Lao food, but why almost all Lao traditional events, such as new year, baci, wedding party, etc... have this kind of food served? confused

What the heck is a SPRILL ROLL?  I never heard of it.
I've only know of SPRING ROLL.

Why they have it ?   because it is food! plain and simple. If I have a baci at my house and going to serve hamburger, does that make hamburger a Lao food? NO!

It is just food.

Well, its not Lao food.  I think its Chinese food.  This version is uniquely Lao style of fry spring rolls with Lao style sauce and those leaves are good and very healthy for your body.

Spring rolls are definately originated in China. They are made of rice wrappers with stuffed veggies, shrimp, pork and etc. Spring rolls get its name from because they're ussually eaten during the Spring Festival.

Egg rolls are not really Chinese, instead of using the rice wrappers, egg rolls are made from dough(wheat) dip in egg, hence the name "eggroll"
Americans and Mexicans mostly use this term, since they don't use rice in their cuisine as much.

Who told you to write: SPRILL ROLLS? You better correct it.
