Upgrade new method for promoting kip currency use in north
(KPL) The authorities of eight northern provinces upgraded capacity on foreign currency management held last week in Oudomsay province, to promote merchants use kip currency instead of foreign currency.
Taking part at training course were Oudomsay, Phongsaly, Luang Namtha, Phongsaly, Bokeo, Sayaboury, Huaphan, Xieng Khouang nad Luang Prabang provinces.
Many documents were disseminated to participants include foreign currency and valuable substances control in Lao PDR, a decree on foreign currency and the promotion of kip currency, a directive on implementing state legislature for foreign currency and valuable substances control and other directives on the promotion of kip currency.
The event aimed at promoting kip currency for goods circulation in the country, strengthen stability native currency and urge merchants stopping in the use of foreign currency.
