The 40 Hour Famine is a fantastic way to do something real for hungry kids. Going without food (or something else that really matters) for 40 hours is a great way for young Australians to get a taste of what life’s like for kids struggling with poverty and hunger around the world.

This year’s Famine focus country is Laos, one of the poorest countries in the world. A shocking 40% of kids under five years old in Laos suffer from malnutrition - one of the highest rates in the world. Read Kaisong and Sangchen’s stories - they’ll break your heart.

N.B:1. First i tried to post the video but don't know why it don't work, so sorry about that.
2. There're many ways to help Lao ppl escaping from the poverty. How much can you contribute? While enjoying ur food and drinking beer lao, do thinking about those who are under poverty for a sec pls.
3. recommended clip for further watching: Teenage Affluenza
