And thai copied from english and american music, and american and english rock and roll is influenced by african, drums and dances Don't you see Bird Thongchai jumping around with YMCA,hands up....etc Maybe Thongchai ran out of idea what to sing in his Concert
well don't say that cambodian copy thai's song without changing. take a look on a song "I think i love you" from Katrya English it is most likely the same as Korean's. or that means thai have no brain as well????
Don't you see even famous as Bird Thongchai ran outof idea what to sing in his latest concert. I saw his new Dvd Concert live...they played in the shop, at the beginning Thongchai came out and jumped around and sang ' that's the way i like it' kakakakka But I think Aluna, Apac, Log, Cell, Awake....etc they have done well.
I think Copying is can be but those songs there have the copyright. I am sure Lao mucis company or Cambodian also bought the copyright from Thai music company and sang on their own languages.
You guys also copied from you Dad & Mom. If is it good for..why don't we copy from them. It's depend on you guys will choose the best to bring to you, right?
I don't want to see all Laos just only envy or jealous neighbors countries with doing nothing to creating your idea to make our own Laos to grown up.
The only difference is that Vietnam bought the copyright from Thai music company and sang in their own languages but Laos and Cambodia don't. Laos can't even accept the fact let alone paying for the copyright.

Even though some Lao singers might have used some of Thai songs and converted to Lao version, that doesn't mean they were jealous or envy Thai people. It's rather that they were just simply borrowing the songs ideas that's all, and I'm sure Thai did the same for their songs too like " Oduang Chumpa" and some of other Lao songs, I can't think of the top of my head riht now. If you only knew, Lao artists have created their own songs too , so don't you dare discredit Lao artists ok buddy!!
now is no border all three country share almost same language , all three country buddhist , buddhist used sansakrist language to teach buddhist , the reason why all three language relate to one and other , no body copy any body , same as america latin they use spanish language .
Thai entertainment during 1980s and 1990s also copied a lot Khmer entertainment from 1960s as well. Nobody is perfect.
You are wrong. The songs were originated in Thailand first and then Khmer entertainment compied them. The first song was first released in 1970 and then Khmer entertainment compied it.
and as for the dance you should read the French record about how many Thai dancer were in Cambodia back then 100 years ago.
Tic zero , this song was my fovorite, thank you webmaster!!! listen to thai song, Lao No need to copy them!!!and if Lao produces the same song as thai, ppls are ignored to buy it, because ppls would think it's worst.

It's impossible because the original one was relased in Thailand 1970. but if you do have evidence of the year this song relased in Cambodia please prove me wrong.
The song was written by one of the greatest song writer of Thailand. His name was Paiboon Budkhan (ไพบูลย์ บุตรขัน) (1918-1972). He wrote thousand and thousand of songs that were sung by many and many of Thai singers. Sinn Sisamouth (1932–1976) took this song and sang it in Khmer no wonder why he was famous in Cambodia.
This song was also written by him (ไพบูลย์ บุตรขัน) and relased in Thailand 1947.
so don't tell me that this song is also Sinn Sisamouth's too. Because Sinn Sisamouth at that time 15 years old and wasn't even a singer yet I'm sure. Even today Khmer keep copying old Thai songs.
So why the hell don't you copy song from Farung like Thai. Oh yeah you already did but you still want to copy Thai song too anyway. Next time just copy song from anyone but Thai.
Some Khmer claim that their version was released on 2001 but the truth is that it was released first in Thailand 2006. but they can just lie to your face lie even about something that can be proved easily like this case.

lol, so Khmer copy everything from Thai. The song was written by him for sure. Thai always think that they never copy other people work. COME ON!!! Just like about Preah Vihear temple, you can see 100% that belong to Cambodia, but Thai people think like the old day everything in the main land of South East Asia is belong to them. Thank to the French to give a true info to about the land.
Yeah.....I agreed with the guy that said Thai copied from American, and English etc. For instance, Bird Thongchai: Don Sornrabiab====copied from Santana Carlos (Black Magic). and Gaolan Yot numta. Jintala Phoonlab====copied from Lao ( Sao Simuang ) as Sao Warlin. So it's on and on, round & round. There you are, don't just blame on Lao or Camb to copy from Thai OK. my man?

Noone blame Lao or Cambodia for copy from Thai but you have to learn to pay for it.
Thai got slag off harshly from Lao when Thai didn't pay Lao the copyright and it should go both way.

Come on guyz!!!! why are we wasting time to disccus who copies who? as long as they don't break the copy right and the products are good.. we are consumer we are ok for that!!!!
You do know that the guy is Vietnamese? And it's called a remake.
Also, Lao doesn't really copy from other countries anymoer if you follow their new music. It's all original. Laos deserves the credits of how much it has improved in producing music in the previous years.
