Myanmar leads Laos 2-0 in the first half. Maing Nilar Htwe opened the scoring with a header through a volley passed from the left by her teammate Aye Nandar Hlaing 12 minutes into the game and Aye Nandar Hlaing made it two by a free kick just outside the penalty area at the 26th minute.

Another Aye Nandar Hlaing's free kick about three meters outside the penalty area made the scoring to three at the 53th minute and Khin Mar Lar Tun directly fired the ball home without touching the land through a pass from Aye Nandar Hlaing from the far left 15 minutes later.

Khin Mar Lar Tun made her second goal through a close-range header at the 73th minute and Margaret Mary added one eight minutes later. Aye Nandar Hlaing received her hat-trick by bouncing the ball from a close-range in the box five minutes from the stoppage time and sealed the victory for Myanmar.

In the second match of the tournament on the same day, Thailand trounced Singapore 8-0.

Myanmar hammered Singapore 3-0 and Thailand crushed Laos 13-1 in the opening day of the tournament.

Malaysia beat Indonesia 2-0 and Vietnam routed the Philippines 9-0 in their first matches of the Group A of the tournament on Friday.

Eight national women's soccer teams from the ASEAN -- Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam -- are taking part in the third ASEAN Championship women's soccer tournament from Sept. 6 to 15, which is hosted by Myanmar for the first time.
