Well I'd say that's real nice of the Turkish people, and also a nice video by the way.

It sounds as if many people don't know what or where Turkey is.

It's in between the middle east and europe, and is a secular democracy, meaning there is no government mandated religion. Most people are Muslim, though there are also Jews and Christians. They recently had elections. A democracy is the kind of government where people vote for who they want to be thier ruler.

I just realized the Lao PDR also calls itself a democracy. Do you vote for your ruler?

Yes as I know, even the level of CHAO KHOENG of each province lao people do go and vote for the person who they believe is doing the good job, could handle the position, but not as Grand Scale like Rich Democracy....spend a lot of money for each election, and if is not workable then call another election like JAPAN, or even AUSTRALIA now on the news they are talking about Call and early election....
You can check and verify whether in LAO people do vote for a CHAO KHOENG for certain year, in the period of 4 years something like that.

we, lao ppl are average low educated, but please don not take for all.
me myshelf know very well Turkey, the country who slaveried balkan countries for just 500 yrs = 5 centuries.

We should appreciate either the'' Christ or  Islam schools, so we can lean from one another. as for my self, i'd love to learn and hear from them,  a Residents in Midle East are bewildered  by people around the world lack of understanding of the region. Especially from the West and America. They the West seem to think that all in the midle East are muslims. to me, not all in the region are Arab that many are not muslim,  or there are two very  different branches of Islam(Shia and Sunni) and historically the two haven't gotten along.. Americans often miss  what DC's actions are doing- from creating refugees to churning up unrest the compels countries to acqire U.S.-made arms. DC has a hand in numerous pots, and many escape media scrutiny. a few to keep an eye on and on and on..etc...
