should the US govt. be more responsible for clearing its bloody cluster bombs or UXO left during the "secret war" in Laos rather than focusing more on the search for its soldiers'remains (MIAs)? present innocent civilians or remains of American soldiers more valuable and important
My tears drop watching the first clip. Not so many American people know where is Laos, and how the UXO has been influenced the life of our citizen. These kinds of news and topics should bring up to the discussion more in both national and international levels.

A good question. Perhaps you should ask the Lao Government who made the wide ranging agreement with the Americans regarding UXO/MIA issues. I believe the Lao Govt wants both programs.
There are 3 countries in SE Asia who continue to refuse to sign the convention against land mines, Burma, Vietnam, and Laos. Why?
Why was the US dropping cluster munitions on Laos?

I dont think the Lao govt wants the MIA programme given the fact that they are trying to look for remains of American enemies who died during the war time wasting time, manpower and effort, etc. what the Lao govt is doing is a good gesture and for humanitarian purposes. YOU think about this fact dae der.
You miss one more country in SE Asia, Singapore. why dont you include the US, China, Russia...what's the deal for a small country like Laos. And for the Land mines, it is more or less a different story from cluster bombs and the UXO. for the last question, I think u know why and no need to explain.
