Scholarship from which country is the most competitive in Laos? This question I have seen from Shout Box. Dek Japan said Japanese, Dek Vietnam said Vietnamese. So, it's clear that these answers might be based on where they study. 

Talking about the most competitive, meaning lots people want to get, but less people can get. I would say all sholarships are competitive.  

However, if talking about the quality of education is high, I would like to suggest you to have a look on this link. From there you can see which University is the best in the world. Proudly to say that there are 2 Universities in Singapore where we study are in the World ranking.

Japan is absolutely better than Singapore.  Singaporeans don't even have their own language and culture like Laotians.

Yeap, Singapore is small country. Population is only about 4 million. There are only 3 universities, but two of which are in the world ranking. In this regard Singapore is also not less important.

Look in Japan there are lots universities, but just 7 universities are in the world ranking.

Yeap, even American people don't have their own language. But you see they are the superpower. Their universities are on the top. 

On top of that, as long as you know English you can work everywhere. That means more important to you, I think.

singapore and japan might be trendy for Lao, but their education standards are second rate. if you want the best education you still have to go to Europe or America, its just a fact.
