Alexandra is like an elementry level compare to Vanessa Mae. Vanessa Mae played violin at age 5 , and she is the youngest soloist to record both Beethoven and Tchaikovsky violin concentos at age 13, she also had concerto debut on stage with the Philharmonia Orchestra in London.She has over 10 million copies record sold world wide.  It is like comparing grade school kids to Master level.....Alexandra has to practice many  many years to master.

i think it is really unfair question!!!! Alexandra have many talents... playing voiline is not the only thing she does.. if you going to ask that, maybe the question should be.. can Vanessa sing like Alexandra??

so you do not know vanessa Mea...and comparing alex to vanessa is like comparing a primary school student to a master degree... in term of playing violin.

Alexandra has been playing violin since she was very young, and to be honest, she is way below where she should be as far as violin skills. She isn't horrible by anymeans, but she shoudn't show off so much because when I see it....I laugh.

I agree with the comment abouve that she should not show off too much. She has talent in singing as for her guitar on the Thai stage any guitar players can tell that she only pick up or practice just the song that she want to show off if they ask her to play other cords I'll bet she can't . I also remembered on one of her interview by the Thai t.v that she want to be an embassador  and on the recent interview she said she will study designer.  Alexandra I ador you and will support you but I want you to think before you say things because anything that you said on national t.v can be replay or reruns. I just don't want you to be embaressed.

Isn't it funny how so many people seem to devoutly defend everything Alexandra does? You know, Alexandra isn't the only Laotain to play musical instruments, and i am sure there are many of us here who are qualified to constructively criticize her performances.

And yes, it is completely our business what she does as a performer and musician. If Sandra was playing privately at home, then yes, it would be none of our business to judge her skills, but since she is willing proudly say she does and perform with it, then it is fair and fine to pass our judgements. As a musician myself, I can firmly say that Alexandra's performances are pushing her technical ability. (I.E. she shows off)

Quit blindly following Sandra and face the facts. Sandra's music is still poorly made and only a tiny step above average Lao artists. We all know the primary reason she is as sucessful as she is because she is cute. Don't get me wrong, I love Sandra too, but some people are really bordering obsession.

I think you miss understood the comment that people said about her. All they said was just becareful when you says thing on national t.v because it can come back and bite her in the end. You are right that no body is perfect and that they can change their mind on their careers and what they want to do in life. No need to be angry when all they want to tell her is that the Thai media are no angel they can attack any time on her words . I also agree that she is working hard to improve on her violin skill I also know that she told the media that she can play piano, guitar beside violin , but the fact is she can only pick up certain song and plyed it . It does not make you a pianist or a guitar player. Be honest and show off the thing that you perfected well like her singing she has wonderful voice I do not denied that, her violin good  but don't show off the things that you only pick up just to show on the t.v to let the people know that you have many talents it would be embarasse if they asked her to perform some songs in piano and guitar that is different from the  one that she has practice to show  and she coudn't do it even if the music note is geving to her. It is better to give less but have knowledge about than give more than knowless.

I know you can't say or criticize any thing at all about Sandra because her die hard fans wiil attack u like a mad dog. I remember one time I was criticizing about Sandra ring nose and belly,and one of her die hard fans attacked me like this  . It is like a very mad dog. 

One thing I appreciate and admire about Alexandra is even she is in Thailand, Thai TV or interviewed by Thai people.  She will speak Lao 100% back.  Contrary to most Lao people will always speak Thai to Thai people.   Alexandra is a tru Lao gem.
   And who's Vanessa Mae? another Lao girl?  Her video in youtube is not there anymore.
