We spotted this near the town of Lak Sao in Laos where we stayed. This is a truck full of Thai dogs headed to Vietnam and someone's dinner plate. I am well aware of the differences in cultures, but this sight still made me feel sort of sad.



Let's make a close look to see how the dogs feel. They may know their destiny when enter Vietnamese border.

Dog meat believe to provide a kind of Aphrodasia or make the one who eat it have more sex. It also believe to make your penis working all the time. In South Korea there is an area where restaurants serve all kind of dog meat dishes. So you eat dog meat you don't need Viagra.biggrinbiggrinbiggrin. Your wife or lover will be happy because of your ego.

Understand dogs here roam with no owners. They feed on rotten food left over by humans.

There are far from "man's bestfriends".

Plus, I don't understand why there would EVER be a demand for dogs... why dogs would ever be shipped to Vietnam to be eaten. This is as stupid as the people claiming KFC doesn't use real chicken. HELLO! It costs a **** load more to produce the alledged "bio-chicken".

Lao would probably eat if they are starving and have no nothing else to eat and no other option.

Vietnamese love to eat because of the Chinese influenced. Korean probably influenced by Chinese as well. Eating animals private parts is not going to cure your sickness or make you have more stamina.
