What new sports would you like to see added to the 2009 SEA GAMES in Laos? 




Currently there are only 25 sports to be played in Laos 2009. They are:

1. Aquatics
2. Archery
3. Athletics
4. Badminton
5. Bowling
6. Boxing
7. Football/futsal
8. Golf
9. Handball
10. Judo
11. Karate-do
12. Muay
13. Petanque
14. Pencak silat
15. sepak takraw
16. Shooting
17. Shuttle ****
18. Snooker and billiards
19. Table tennis
20. Taekwondo
21. Tennis
22. Traditional boat race
23. Volleyball/beach volleyball
24. Wrestling
25. Wushu.

BASKET ! I Love Basket !! :)


I read that, if Laos arn't ready, SEA Games 25th will be in Singapoor ? Are we ready ? This the first time that Vientiane (Laos) will organize SEA GAMES, it's good for economy, sports and tourism :)
Where can we see this game when it will started ? :)

to answer this question yes.... i saw an advertise awhile back.. asking if there's any lao-american or lao-canadian living aboard would be interest in competing.. if you have the skills and did not turn professsional... the answer is YES!!  you can be a member of lao national teams..  

they might ask you to move back to laos for extended period of times.. to train there... but, there's no financial support... you're on you're own!!

i heard for golfing.. there will lao-american participate in ASEAN 09 game..

so.. if there's LAO Yao Ming out there... better go back to laos and show off the skills
