I propose that we call ourself Lao Vientiane, Lao Prabang, Lao Savan, Lao Pakse to distinguish ourself with Thai people of Thailand.

It would have better rating if she speaks Thai in the movie. The character in the movie is not about SaoLao. More to this later.

a cicada-like insect, whose shrill cry is often heard in the jungle.

Should be appropriate to this character of Sandra on this TV Series, because she is The daughter of the Forest or Wood as the producer suggested.
