Argonaut Resources announced that exploration at Ban Bak on the company's Xekong tenement in Southern Laos has returned very strong results including rock-chip samples up to 368g/t Au and channel samples up to 8m @ 40g/t Au.
 
These results were generated following a successful soil sampling program at Ban Bak which clearly identified various gold exploration targets. The company plans to follow-up on these highly encouraging results by conducting an extensive man-portable diamond drilling program during the next dry season which is scheduled to commence in November 2008.
