Laos is not communist country and Laos is not democratic country and Laos is neutral country . Laos is ruled by one group of corrupted people who don't want to share the power with the Lao people. They will make all the decision for all the Lao people regardless the people like it or not . The people have no choice but to live with it.

Well if Laos have so many luxury cars who care they deserved it from their hard work that's their fruits of their labor. it's doesn't matter of how they got it as long as they can afford to buy. corruption or noncorruption it's up to them of how they used their brain. i'm so proud of the lao peoples nowaday. Poor or rich are still human. we all have that kind of peoples all over ther world.

I hate to be poor but I also hate the corrupted people. I love self make millionaire or billionaire who earn the money honestly with their brain , not by stealing from the country and selling the nation out.

Why so many luxury cars? Simple answer is because they can afford them.

If you been to Lao you know what I mean. It is all focus on tourism/tourists. Majority of Lao people can not do or go places or eat the fancy restaurant. Only the very few and those are another business owners and government elites. I dont think salary workers can afford it.

Do you know why they think Laos has so many luxury cars? Cause it's the same damn one driving around all the time! Look how small Vientiane is, there aren't many cars there to begin with, just a handful. Then there are thousands of motorcycles. Luxury cars stand out in Laos because there are so few, so they stand out. When I drive to work everyday in the US, I see mercedes and bmw's everyday. I parked next to a Porsche 911 GT3 today at the post office when I was dropping off some mail. So what, it's common here to see fancy cars and it's not the same one everytime.

In the rest of the world anyone can own these luxury cars if they save their money but mostly doctors, lawyers, engineers, executives, managers, business owners can afford these cars $100k+.

In Laos, only corrupt people own these luxury cars. The rest can't afford it, with their $300/mth salary income at best. Even the import cost alone to get these cars into the country is beyond the normal person's paycheck, but corrupt gov't officials can do it.

It bothers me to see these cars in Laos, you know why? Cause if you look at the schools and how shietty they are for the kids and how poor people are and then these bastards waste the money on something materialistic like a car to show off that they are corrupt and can get away with it, is very stupid. I'm Lao and I hate Lao people becaus of this shiet attitude they have. Selfish and self centered, that's why I hope they get bombed again to get rid of the stupids in the country.
