I just starting to learn Laos. Relearn about Laos culture, after not caring over 20years. I think i'll stop. Laos people suck!. so much hate. I think i'll learn Isan and Thai instead.

Laos is a country, not a language. I'm always sick of seeing that. "I speak Laos!"

LAOSPY is realistic, electing a "leader" especially a foreign born Lao, is absurd. We have ambassadors for this. I think the people disagreeing with you didn't understand your message. But maybe create a NGO to bridge foreign Lao and the Lao in Laos together, culturally or economically, no where politically. Thats ideal.

I am so glad I came to this. "No body loves us like we love ourselves". I am Lao living abroad. I can see that Laos Gov. is changing for better now. There's no Communist anymore. Soviet fell in 1990's when Ronald Reagan was a U.S. president. Chinese Gov. is leaning toward the West. Chinese economy is getting better because they open to world wide. Same to Laos, Laos Gov. is opent arm to Lao Noek (Lao people in foreign countries) who hope to build Laos, not to destroy Laos. Not like Vang Pao and his gang who want to take over Laos and rule and change Laos to ?????. But unfortunately, U.S. Gov. is not on his side this time. Poor guy. So "United we stand, Divided we fall" I repeat "United we stand, Divided we fall" .

Actually, I don't bother much about the fact that they blamed me something bad when I disagreed with them.

I just expressed my opinion on behalf of Lao people. So, even I agreed with them doesn't mean Lao people would agree with them.

I think that is very smart way to do. I think your point is very make sense and not offended at all, but some poeple try to be too much political and that is how it get you to the obstacle time.
I have read from many writer here, some of them gettting too much anger from the political issued it was the old time not much you can do about it. I think the past is the past let move on to the new civilization. We must learn how to accept the fact and live your happy life for tomorrow, for instance:
The new laos G-verment of today they have done alot of work to the country and we're "khon lao" should be appreciated the work they have done to our homeland.

Someone changed the user's name and changed the tones about Lao government. He used to critized Lao government as a communist country. He doesn't to help Lao people. He citicized Lao-foreigner who want to do business and invest in Laos. He fear no one but only fear inside himself !!

Use the CAP letter as the name as the HELL !!!

Is he a patriot or traitor? Can Lao people judge him?

I read through all the comments posted here. There obviously are many posts misinterpret result in misunderstanding. How can all of you ever get along when you guys don't even know what other are trying to say.

I used to do paltalk couples years ago, I even have my OWN CHAT room.
What is your screen name there Lanxang and what room are you normally in?
I was kind of bored maybe I will check it out again, But honestly some political room, they lock it up. They do private chat or meeting I don't know?
Sometime they don't even let you talk, they mute you or gave you a red dot, I was unable to talk. I sometime go to viet room to see the naked girls. Just for fun though, I dont know if lao99, lao2000 are still there?

it's seem that many men many mind, anyone have the right to say but what you going to say you should think first , i hope who wrote in this blog almost is lao people right ? but maybe we live in difference place for ex. you are in US i'm in lao ,i agree with many comment that you guy posted ,but i saw some comment is to bad or mor than that is worse ..... even we still don't know and see each other we still make conflict against each other.... how come we will live together in peaceful ..... ? i'm lao i live in lao i know every thing had happened in lao . nowaday lao already change not only economic but also other reason .. lao government is not communist , lao people don't kill or torturing people but instead lao goverment help and brother people ....... you shoul take out the jealous or anti lao G , currently we lao people welcome the human resourse to contribute to the nation no matter you are in abroad or some where so plz don't make conflict .... i don't want to see lao kill lao by ordered of other nation >>>> one more i wana metion is many people who live in US they think the are smart nad they look dow lao people who live in lao....... i wana shut their mout up and wana said that don't be arrogant ... we lao people live in lao we also have high eaducation........ we can build lao with out you ok !
