Matt Lauer Will Broadcast "LIVE" from Luang Prabang?

Someone from Laohub said that Matt Lauer of NBC Today show will be "LIVE" from Luang Prabang on April 30, 2008.
I tried to look at schedule, but NBC kept it secret. This is part of this year: "Where in the world is Matt Lauer?"

I'll try to tune in, and see if he's there @ 7:00AM (my local time)
As of this morning (4-28-08),he's "LIVE" from Buenos Aires,Argentina.

Will he be broadcasting "LIVE" from Luang Prabang tomorrow?... It's a "guess" game, and NBC wouldn't tell us. (It's also a rating game against rivals network CBS & ABC)

Look like Matt is gonna be in Luang Prabang tomorrow 4-30-08. ???

Based on these clues:

Clue1: This country is  an anagram of a synonym of a homophone of
           an even prime number.
Clue2:  Where in the world is this photo from?

Would anyone tape it and post it all on youtube for all Lao people to see. If he really will be in LP, I won't be able to watch it since I'll be at work at 7:00 AM Central time.;

I am in central time USA, and watching NBC Today show broadcast (LIVE) from Pha Thatluang, Vientiane, with traditional dancers and music in background.

I am so proud to be a Laotian, eventhough living abroad, to know that my beloved native country of Laos is finally exposed to be known (slowly) around the world.

Thanks to NBC network ! JOB WELL DONE !

Matt Lauer and TODAY show is leaving Laos and proceed to the next (not yet reveal) location.
Too bad he did not make it to UNESCO town of Luang Prabang or Vang Vieng.

This is definitely huge moment for Laos in term of exposure and the impact this will have on tourism industry. I haven't seen this much exposure about Laos on US national TV ever, thanks to NBC.

Im so happy that NBC broadcast my motherland to America and the World. NBC did a good job on showing how Lao is really like today. Watching all the video clips almost brought tears to my eyes.

Lao Lan Xang forever!

This is very very positive coverage for Laos.  Good stuff NBC.  NBC brings the world to America instead of America spitting out propaganda to the world.  People of the world see many good & crazy things about America.   But not many Americans see good things about other countries around the world.  This may be eye opener for many Americans they as Matt broadcasting live around the World.  This is very good idea.  I am delighted for NBC choosing Vientiane, Laos as one of its many stops along with many great cities of the World - Buenos Aires, Amsterdam, Vietiane, Istanbul.  Go Vientiane, Laos. GO! GO! GO!

Bravo to NBC!!! i'm they could easily pick Vietnam, Cambodian, or Thailand... But, instead... they choose Laos!! This is probably the first time for NBC to broadcast live from Laos, since the Vietnam War..

Hey Matt Lauer,

I know you like communist country so you pick the one man, the communist poeple they are very friendly and respectful poeple. I hope one day you will seatdown on the side of the street in Vientiane, and have some tum mark hoong  or obb mah there. hehehehehehe

Rocker,
I think there is nothing to do with communist or non-communist countries that Matt and the producer's choosing.  I think it's about "RATING".
And NBC Today show has been on the top ahead of CBS Morning show, and ABC Good Morning America. I think they want to keep it that way.

In the future, I wish another networks (I like to see CNN) to think about about it and follow footstep of NBC. I like to see them go (and broadcast live) to Luang Prabang or Vang Vieng or Plain of Jars.
