This is the first Lao movie in the 33-year times. After seeing the 2 trialers of this movie, what comments or suggestion do you want to give to the producers and their team ?
It's ridiculously pathetic for them to translate SaBaiDee to SaWadee. An idiot can distinguish that I believe. Athough, the picture wise looks nice with all the Lao landscape. But I hope there are more movies to come that takes place in Laos
I think it is not ridiculous to translate Sabaidee to Sawasdee, because in Thailand they also used the word Sabaidee, but for the meaning of "I'm fine", not a greeting like in Laos. Don't think that all the people in Thailand or other parts of the world understand the greeting word "Sabaidee". Remember this is the first Lao movie in the 33 years time! so don't expect much that people know about Laos. Some people even don't know what the capital of Laos is. If we have more than 100 films in the near future, I will not complaint anything.
YEAH why ppl always like to complain? in whatever topic, it comes out, most ppl like to find the weakness and complain. They may forget the good points of those points and do not give any compliment. that's bad... u should see both sides. As you know this is the first lao movie in 33 years, so u should cheer them up, tell them to keep up a good work...
btw, i really wanna see this movie, does anyone know how can we access to this movie?
Keep up the good work SABAIDEE LPB team... hope ur movie is successful as you guys expected
hahhahaa can't do anything to make lao folks happy.... instead rally together and support our lao artists... people will always find negative things to say.. for those who are so negative about this movie should at least wait and watch the whole movie.... til than you can give proper review!!
i think it is a good start... lao producer is trying to come out with a movie that all the lao people can be proud of.. im giving him two thumbs up!!!! i can't wait to see the finish product..
My question is Why there are Thai letters instead of Lao letters? On the other hand. I support and wish there are more Lao movies to come.
where did you see the thai letters??? on their website?? perhaps, this movie is being funded by Thai company.. to me, anytime Laos can expose themselve to the world in a positive manner than it is all good..
I think both the negative and positive comments are good for the producers. If they got only good comments, so they have no more motivation to develop their films in the future.
I personally like giving negative comments and finally ending with words that are very inspired.

Don't think that all the people in Thailand or other parts of the world understand the greeting word "Sabaidee" ------------------------------------------------------------
That is why it should be "Sabaidee". So the whole world would know about Laos. Now all the people who watches this movies gonna think that all the sceneries are from Thailand. And this movie is about Thailand.
I saw the movie, and I enjoyed it, but it is not that great of a movie, if we were to compare it to others.
It was a funny romantic story, but the story was too conservative, and I didn't like the ending. And you could feel like the movie was rushed. It could have been much better if the Lao government lifted restrictions, I read it was very difficult for the production crew to do make the movie.
But overall, it was pretty good, hopefully there will be more.
