The religion and alcohol are now mix together.   So, it's okay to drink beer on the holiday.  What happens to the 5 precepts I wonder.  Then they will left with 4 only.......hahaha!

Oh, my God. Lao youth start drinking alcohol while they are so young. Where they get money to buy beer and liquor? We should not promote young Lao people to drink beer and liquor.

hey i think beer lao company is good for right now laoses economy is still i its infant stage and it needs something to stirr upp the economy. also it could be worst lets just be thankful our economy isnt running on prostitution like a neighboring country.

and also about the moral issues involved:

1) if drinking alcohol is really badd then when the economy is better im sure people will have more time to think about it and fix any social flaws we have.

2) drinking is bad to some extent but mostly in the western culture underage drinking is a problem. we are not westerners, drinking at a young age is part of a lot of different countrys culture and from what ive seen laos is doing ok.

i think is good that beer lao company can produced a lot of capacity to supply to the demander and contribution the budget to the goverment  and sponser to many social event..... but  i would like to commend that ... the advertising or publicize  should has some limit.... don't make immoral to the religion or destoy cultural  of the nation ...... don't think only benefit but instead  we have to think about the culture ,the morality and public policy..... we almost laotain is buddhist we beleive in buddhism ... and one of prohibition of 5 precepts is alcohol ... so in this point we should avoid .... in this point i mean we should not combine alcohol and religion ...frankly i wana said that should not advertising any intoxicating liquors  inthe temple or the worship place ........ if we do like this how about the foreigner eyes to ours nation... ??????   ours great former president KAISONE PHOMVIHAN alway emphasize that < if we lose national culture  mean that we lost the nation >

I visited the east of thakek, Mahaxay district to finishing in the pond of my friend
we had some beer laos with grilled fishes.
there was a little girl came along with her mother at lunch. a little started crying and wanted something from her mother, I guess a little girl's age is 3-4 years old.
i didnt understand why a little was crying .. and later I know that, she wanted to drink beer Lao. so her mother had to pure her a bit of beer lao, so she stopped crying...

Beer Lao is really good. in the rural area of LAOS. 3-4 years old kid is too adictive to  drink beer lao..instead of Milk..

ciao. grazie
