I like them much more than in Thailand. Lao police are more polite and less scary looking, better uniforms. The Thai police are like sausages stuffed into tight cloths and carry huge pistols. Lao police always ok to me.

Wish there were more at night. When it gets dark all the bad guys can do whatever they want.

They needed to worry about crime/bad people do stupid things instead worry about their pimples on their face. They needed to act like a police officer, so that people can look up too and trusted.

I can't believe you would seriously say that from ONE photo of TWO policemen in Vientiane out of the maybe hundred or more Police Officers in Laos.

I'm sorry but its not Thailand where crime is rampant, its Laos. Crime is low there, and most likely those two officers are on a break, or resting.

While I was there, 3 police officers in the back of a truck had 4 criminals arrested and bound. I'm sure they're doing their jobs. They also enforced the helmet law, giving tickets like wild fire.

If you were the old CIA who is really bitter heart, its not a suprisde that you don't the laos Goverment.
It been so many years that the war was ended. I feel your lost.
If you never accept the truth then I believe you never going to live in a peace.

I honestly believe the CIA is quite past a war that happened 30 years ago. IMO, they would be nearing their 60-70s by now. Men come to terms with things they've done in their life.

You talk about accepting the truth, but you haven't accepted the truth that the CIA has moved on. To bring such a thing back to life, in response to a photo of two police men (I can't believe I'm responding to this), shows that you yourself have not moved on and indeed are the bitter hearted one.

I mean it shows the bad side of policeman in Laos
It makes me hate a policeman more than ever
Money is the biggest thing for some of policeman when they catch someone along the street, no matter what
