YES; for sure, and IF autorities are able to reduce and avoid future problems caused by cars (trafic jams, parking and pollution), it will for sure become better and better again in the next years!
I just hope we can get soon a big big shop dedicated to tools and materials for building, improve and décorate the house, as our "leroy Merlin" or "castorama" in France because such shop is really very very usefull and could be precious for lao people (who do many things by themselves)
Maybe in a few years i would live there... who knows?
Vientiane needs to develop a lot more so that there will be no dirty roads, no polluted sewage canals, have more lighted streets and more public parks in and around the city. Besides, the city must be safer and cleaner so the people can enjoy a better atmosphere.
vientiane people are amazing, the City is so attractive, I think the traffic is becoming a big problem in the future and it needs to build more road and transportation tools
