the Impact of flood in Laos

Laos has flooded 46,55 Hectras including 28,186 hetras is Rice fields so far ,according the Pasaxon newspaper reports, as we know  Laos is an agricultural country, more than 80% of the population are farmers specially planting the rice (sticky rice)
our people have no enought rice to feed the family in a whole year even thought it didnt flood seriously in the recent years

what about 2008? what the farmers will be faced after the flood?
what the Price of rice in Laos  next year?

I would say it is a deep impact for Lao farmers
and surely the price of food and agricultural products will increase sooner or later.

this is impact of global warming . this will reoccur more and more severe each year . ocean getting warmer more moisture will be more rain . water no way to absorb to ground due to damn and less tree .

that's why it is important that everyone should help in the protection of the environment. all these extremes in calamities have been effects of misuse of natural resources, etc. leading to global warming.
