the earthquake  5.9 Magnitude occured in Yunan Province Myanmar china border

: Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 06:54:31 PM at epicenter


at least 3 people were killed and more than 100 wounded. eastimate the victims reachs  more than 3400 according to the Local news of Yunnan!!

Does anyone know how s the situation of a disaster in the Northern Laos??

An earthquake of the magnitude of 5.9 degrees is quite stron, but may not cause severe damages if the epicenter is very deep and in the remote  area.
